When God Sends an Angel

And God Sent an Angel.

This is a beautiful story of God's loving care for us, even before we had got to know Him.

While reading every chapter, we laugh and we cry. In every chapter, our heart beats fast, and then feels relief. In every chapter, we feel desperate, we feel revolted, then we calm down and feel consoled by the clear operation of the Almighty's hand.

Tears and laughter arise inevitably from the unveiling of the wisdom obtained from suffering, which accompanies a child's ingenuous simplicity, in a two-sided situation of pain and of well-being. The latter can only exist side by side by means of an annointing by the Holy Spirit.

We really can't read this book without realizing that the author, with the masterly use of the written word, passes on to us the overflowing of the depths of his heart.

This is really a fine piece of literature, and to read it is not only a duty, but a privilege which may be enjoyed by every tasteful reader.

And God sent (as I believe) not only one angel, but at least two of them: one to help the heroine of this book, and another one to help the writer to narrate the events.

The Woman Next Door

Woman Next Door

In The Woman Next Door, New York Times bestselling novelist Barbara Delinsky delivers her most engaging novel to date, a story of trust, jealousy, and the struggle to keep love alive.
On a charming cul-de-sac in suburban Connecticut, three close-knit couples find their long-cherished harmony undone when a lovely, younger neighbor, widowed a year ago and presumably still unattached, becomes pregnant.
Who is the father? Could it be one of the husbands?
One by one, the couples turn inward, taking stock of their marriages and of the loyalties that perhaps have been taken too much for granted. In each case this close scrutiny reveals a weakness, and for each wife the situation becomes the kind of crisis that forces her to make a decision, one that will result in either the strengthening or the dissolution of her marriage.
Filled with suspense, surprises, and the kind of insights into the minds and hearts of her characters that have won Barbara Delinsky a huge and loyal following, The Woman Next Door is an ingenious portrait of suspicion and deception, faith and love.

Word Formation: Aspects of the Latin Conjugation in Distributed Morphology

This book presents an analysis of the Latin Conjugation in the framework of Distributed Morphology. While morphological analyses of parts of many different languages exist in this and other frameworks, the book addresses the need for a detailed analysis of the theoretical aspects of a single, well-studied verbal system. Particular emphasis is placed on the analysis of how word-forms relate to hierarchically structured objects created by the syntax.

Wrestlers in History: Real People and Legends

Wrestlers in History is an insightful account of the essence and spirit of wrestling, and how the sport has influenced the thinking, the behavior, and lives of mankind over the centuries. The book chronicles the exploits and personalities of numerous amateur and professional wrestlers. The treatise contrasts wrestling with other sports and extols its merits. The author wrestled early in the 1940s and relates how the rules of the sport differed before and afterward. The different styles of wrestling seen centuries ago as well as practiced globally today are described within biographies of the participants. The book will appeal to those who are curious about "mankind's oldest and greatest sport." It is a thoughtful book with revealing biographies of Pythagoras, Lincoln, Muldoon, Washington, and many more luminaries that captures the ethos and times of wrestlers in history.
