The time is modern day. Everywhere innocent people are getting killed or taken as slaves for the Dark Ones. The Dark Ones consist of a mixture of vampires, lycans, and the new breed, hybrids. As more and more people are vanishing each day, a small group is born, made to combat the dark ones, and send them back into the underworldA[a�A]. Enter Asuka Marie, a young girl who gets taken on the night of her first mission for the human rebels, and almost becomes a slave to the dark one. Saved by a skilled hybrid and a mischievous vampire, Asuka meets the group to combat the Dark Ones, also consisting of a mixture of vampires, lycans, and hybrids. During her stay she begins to learn that hybrids are not just born; they are created. What happens when her rescuer begins to yearn for her blood and her soul?
